Now that Barack Obama won the 2008 Presidential Election of the richest and strongest nation in the whole wide world, the Whitehouse fleet is waiting for his promised electric cars. It seems a bit out of course though, as there are other global issues that need to be attended first but every driver/listed owner of a Whitehouse-released automobile is really looking forward to it. Maybe no one will take it against him in the open, but many believe in every word that comes out of his trained mouth. He is the living proof of the United State’s democracy. He is US’s needed change. Changing the entire Whitehouse fleet to cool plug-in hybrids could be one of the monumental and historic acts he can start with.
I was wondering if President-elect Barack Obama is just trying to be the cool, young dude he is for thinking of plug-in hybrids rather than the long authority-trademark vehicles. But its more wonderful than that, these electrics are green automobiles. Being the President of the US entails so much responsibility, and maybe on one of his long ride from Illinois, he computed in his mind the tons and tons of exhaust his executive automobile is making. He also thought of the polluted future of his daughters and the many children in his nation.
Behind the issue if President-elect Barack Obama will or will not replace the entire Whitehouse fleet:
I am also looking forward to see a real robust change on the executive dark-tinted luxurious automobiles that have been the trademark of the nation’s executives. These long vehicles speak of authority; they’re kind of spooky to an average citizen. But if executives will start using hip vehicles, which are also greener, they will be more approachable.
Suddenly, it’s just cool to be an American again.
