The latest Toyota Tundra overcomes all barriers–even the flaming ones.
Early this year, Toyota released a Toyota Tundra 2010 commercial to give off-road fans a peek into the truck’s 2010 model year. I have seen the video, and man, how that full-size pickup was able to cross a burning tunnel (of 257.6 degrees Fahrenheit) was simply jaw dropping! And with the truck’s towing capacity of 10,000 pounds, its durability is undeniable.
As the Earth Day draws near, more and more companies are coming up with ways to makes cars greener. An example is a technology that combines GPG with hybrid powertrains for an improved fuel economy. The technology comes from Ricardo Inc., a British engine-test company, and four other companies.

Yes, we know that GPS devices help drivers when navigating the road. If you own a BMW, you rely on the iDrive to provide you with accurate road data. But who could’ve imagined that a nav device can have a mind of its own? It may come sooner than you think.
Expect a smarter, more powerful, and more advanced personal navigation system on BMWs soon. BMW is currently developing intelligent navigation systems that will be proactive in informing drivers about possible traffic congestion along the routes they usually ply. To make decisions about a driver’s destination, the new navigation system is set to combine past and present traffic information and data from other car sensors. These systems will also be designed to recommend other routes that are more fuel-efficient. The project is handled by the Research and Technology arm of BMW.
